Re-Run/Resume Analysis Overview

Notice that there is a red arrow on each workbook folder. This is an indicator that the script that produced the results in that folder has been attached to the folder. This enables Statistica to re-run or resume the analysis.

To re-run an analysis, right-click on one of the folders with a red arrow, and from the shortcut menu, select Re-run Analysis to display the Re-run Analysis dialog box. The re-run analysis functionality enables you to update/re-run results from analyses when new data is entered into the spreadsheet.

Note that if you delete results output from your workbook, when you re-run the analysis, the output deleted will be regenerated.

To resume an analysis, right-click on one of the folders with a red arrow, and from the shortcut menu, select Resume Analysis. The Resume Analysis dialog box will be displayed. The resume analysis functionality enables you to bring an analysis back to the point before the results were generated, allowing you to select different options or continue an analysis in progress.

In either dialog box, you can choose to Use original data source or Use new data source. The latter option gives you the ability to create "templates” that can then be applied to new data sources.

In addition to specifying the data source, you can choose to Output to current folder or Output to new folder.
