Save Statistica Project

Ribbon bar. Select the File tab. In the left pane, select Project. In the right pane, click Save to display the Save Statistica Project dialog box.

Classic menus. From the File menu, select Save Project to display the Save Statistica Project dialog box.

Use these options to save your input data, results (graphs, spreadsheets, etc.), analyses, and/or Data Miner workspaces that are currently open into a single project. The next time that you open Statistica, all of these items will be restored exactly as they were when the project was saved. See also, Open Statistica Project.

File name. Enter the name of the Statistica Project in this field.

Save as type. The type of file (.spf) is shown in this field

Include in project. This group box contains the items that you can select to be saved into the project.

Spreadsheets. Select this check box to save all of the currently open data sets as part of the project.

Graphs. Select this check box to save all of the currently open graphs as part of the project.

Workbooks. Select this check box to save all of the currently open workbooks as part of the project.

Macros. Select this check box to save all of the currently open macros as part of the project.

Reports. Select this check box to save all of the currently open reports as part of the project.

Workspaces. Select this check box to save all of the currently open Data Miner workspaces as part of the project.

Streaming DB Connectors. Select this check box to save all of the currently open Streaming Database Connector documents as part of the project.

Dashboards. Select this check box to save all of the currently open dashboards as part of the project.

Analyses. Select this check box to save all of the currently open analyses as part of the project. When you open this project, these analyses can be re-run and modified.

Analysis results. Select this check box to save the currently open results as part of the project.

For documents that are already saved on disk. This group box contains options to specify how you want to handle any documents that are already saved when you add them to the project.

Link to the existing document file. When this option button is selected, any already-saved files will not be embedded in the project, but will be reopened from their original location when you open this project.

Embed the document in the project. Select this option button to embed copies of any already-saved files in the project. This is useful for making a project more portable between colleagues.

Save. Click this button to save the Statistica Project.

Cancel. Click this button to close this dialog box without saving the Statistica Project.
