... to remove the selected item (and its children) from the workbook tree while copying it to the Clipboard. This feature is useful when you want to move a portion of the tree to a different location within the workbook. To paste the contents in a new location, select either As first child, As last child, As prior sibling, or As next sibling from the Workbook - Paste as Workbook document submenu.

When you select this command, the STATISTICA Workbook dialog box is displayed, prompting you to verify that you want to cut the selected items. Click Yes if you want to continue or No if you do not want to continue. You can stop the prompting dialog box from being displayed by clearing the Prompt on item delete check box on the Workbooks tab of the Options dialog box.

You can also access this command by right-clicking on any item in the workbook tree and selecting Cut Workbook document from the shortcut menu. For information on making selections in the workbook tree, see Can I select discontinuous items in the workbook tree?.
