RTF Files

Standard, formatted text and graphics files are available in STATISTICA to store reports (i.e., output from the Report Window). When files are saved in Rich Text Format (*.rtf), all of the file formatting is preserved so that it can be read and interpreted by other RTF-compatible applications (e.g., Microsoft Word); however, saving reports in the default STATISTICA Report format (*.str) ensures that reports opened in STATISTICA will give you complete access to the report tree.

The Rich Text Format (RTF) is a Microsoft standard method of encoding formatted text and graphics for easy transfer between applications.
