Structural Equation Modeling: Sample Size Calculation Results

Power Analysis and Sample Size Calculation in Experimental Design

Click OK in the Structural Equation Modeling: Sample Size Parameters dialog box to display the Structural Equation Modeling: Sample Size Calculation Results dialog box, which contains two tabs: Quick and Settings I/O.

Summary box. The Summary box at the top of the dialog box shows the current fixed, or baseline, parameters for the analysis. These can be altered at any time without losing any changes in the settings of the current dialog box by clicking the Change Parameters button.

Copy button. Click the Copy button to copy either the selected text (if text has been selected) in the Summary box or all of the text (if no text has been selected) to the Clipboard. Note that the copied text retains formatting information (such as font, color, etc.).

Contract/Expand button. Click the Contract/Expand button to contract or expand the Summary box. When contracted, you see only one line of the Summary box text and can scroll through the text using the scroll bar. Note that when contracted, the text is scrolled so that the first non-blank line is at the top. When expanded (the default setting), the entire Summary box is displayed.

Calculate N. Click the Calculate N button to calculate N for the currently selected fixed parameters and display a spreadsheet containing the fixed parameters and the results of the sample size calculation.

Change Parameters. Click the Change Parameters button to alter the fixed parameters from the Structural Equation Modeling: Sample Size Parameters dialog box without losing any changes in the settings of the current dialog box.

Back. Click the Back button to return to the Structural Equation Modeling: Sample Size Parameters dialog box without saving any of the current changes.

Options. Click the Options button to display the Options menu.
