Spreadsheet Case Selection Conditions

Ribbon bar. Select the Tools tab. In the Tools group, click Selection Conditions and from the menu, select Edit to display the Spreadsheet Case Selection Conditions dialog box.

Classic menus. From the Tools - Selection Conditions submenu, select Edit to display the Spreadsheet Case Selection Conditions dialog box.

This dialog box contains three tabs: Selections, Display, and Subset/Random Sampling.

Use these options to specify case selection conditions for the current spreadsheet. These selection conditions may or may not be the same selection conditions that you set when you click the Select Cases button on any analysis or graph dialog box. (See Analysis Case Selection Conditions for further details.) The case selection conditions that you create can be saved for future use.

The following options are available regardless of which tab is selected.

Open. Click the Open button to display the standard open file dialog box, which is used to open a previously saved case selection condition file.

Save As. Click the Save As button to display the standard save file dialog box, which is used to save case selection conditions in a file.

OK. Click the OK button to set your selection conditions and return to the spreadsheet.

Cancel. Click the Cancel button to return to the current spreadsheet. Any changes made to the selection conditions will be disregarded.
