Manage DDE Links

Ribbon bar. Select the Edit tab. In the Links group, click DDE to display the Manage DDE Links dialog box.

Classic menus. Select DDE Links from the Edit menu to display the Manage DDE Links dialog box.

Note: When you open a spreadsheet that contains DDE links, a message dialog box will be displayed:

Click the Yes button to display the Manage DDE Links dialog box.

Close. Click the Close button to exit the dialog box.

New Link. Click the New Link button to display the New DDE Link dialog box, where you can create a new DDE link. For more information see Create a New DDE Link.

Edit Link. After selecting an existing link, click the Edit Link button to display the New DDE Link dialog box, where you can edit the selected link. For more information see Editing a DDE Link.

Delete Link. Click the Delete Link button to delete the selected link. For more information see Delete a DDE Link.

Disable Link. Click the Disable Link button to disable the selected link. For more information see Disable a DDE Link.

Update Link. Click the Update Link button to manually update the selected link. For more information see Update a DDE Link.

Update All. Click the Update All button to manually update all DDE links listed in this dialog box. See Update a DDE Link.

Set Manual. Click the Set Manual button to change the selected link to a manually-updated link. For more information see Update a DDE Link. Note that after you click this button, it will become the Set Auto button.

Set Auto. Click the Set Auto button to change the selected link to an automatically-updated link. For more information see Update a DDE Link. Note that after you click this button, it will become the Set Manual button.

Note that as data is updated in the source (or server) file, it will overwrite the existing data in the STATISTICA (or client) spreadsheet.
