Data - Input Spreadsheet

Ribbon bar. Select the Data tab. In the Mode group, select the Input check box to designate the active spreadsheet as an input spreadsheet.

Classic menus. From the Data menu, select Input Spreadsheet to toggle the designation of the active spreadsheet as an input spreadsheet.

Analyses/graphs can only be performed/created on input spreadsheets.

To designate an output spreadsheet (i.e., the results from one analysis) as an input spreadsheet, select the spreadsheet (i.e., ensure the spreadsheet has the focus) and select Input Spreadsheet from the Data menu. Now you can begin an analysis, and STATISTICA will use the data from the specified input spreadsheet for the analysis. Note that if you switch back to another spreadsheet that has previously been designated as an input spreadsheet, it can still be used for analyses as well.

In a workbook, only one spreadsheet can be selected for an analysis at a time. This spreadsheet is called the active input spreadsheet and is indicated with a spreadsheet icon surrounded by a red frame in the workbook tree.

See Input Spreadsheet Overview for further details.
