Create New Document

Ribbon bar. Select the Home tab. In the File group, click New to display the Create New Document dialog box.

Classic menus. Select New from the File menu or click the toolbar button to display the Create New Document dialog box.

This dialog box contains eight tabs: Spreadsheet, Workspace, Report, Macro, Workbook, Streaming DB Connector, Office Document, and Dashboard. Use the options on these tabs to create a new spreadsheet, report, macro, workbook, streaming database connector file (*.sti), Excel or Word document, or Statistica Workspace.

OK. After you have used the appropriate tab to specify the document type to create, click the OK button to create the new document.

Cancel. Click the Cancel button to close this dialog box without creating a new document.
