Workbook - Paste
As Workbook Document - As Prior Sibling
Ribbon bar. Select the Workbook
tab. In the Clipboard group,
click Paste Item and on the menu,
select As
prior sibling to paste the contents of the Clipboard immediately
before, but on the same level as the currently selected item in the workbook
tree.
Classic menus. On the Workbook - Paste as Workbook document submenu,
select As prior sibling to paste
the contents of the Clipboard immediately before, but on the same level
as the currently selected item in the workbook tree.
Note that if the top level of the workbook is selected, this option
will not be available as it is not possible to paste anything as a sibling
to the first folder in the workbook tree (i.e., on the same level as the
root node).
To use the commands on the Paste Item
menu (ribbon bar) or the Paste as Workbook
document menu (classic menus), you must have an acceptable workbook
item on the Clipboard (e.g., a folder, STATISTICA
or other ActiveX
document, or another workbook). If the Clipboard is empty or if you have
copied something else (e.g., text from an e-mail message) to the Clipboard,
these commands are dimmed.
Note that you can also access this command by right-clicking on any
item in the workbook tree and selecting Paste
as Workbook document from the shortcut menu or by pressing CTRL+V.
